Hi, welcome to our story. My name is Tracy and my creative partner's name is Robin, my daughter. We make wall art, rustic signs & artistic shelves out of reclaimed wood. We have always loved the creation of a vision in the mind to a completed work, We are fascinated by the process of getting our hands to construct what our minds eye sees. We hunt old or unwanted wood and transform it into something beautiful for a home, ours and hopefully yours!

Ryan's place home decor started years ago with the creation of a few signs we wanted for our homes, they turned out so well we made signs, paintings and shelves as gifts for our family and friends who loved them so much, overwhelming requests were made to purchase more. So my husband built us a wood shop and my son Ryan (Robin's brother) showed us how each new tool worked. Putting the shop together was a family affair, it became our family's hobby, our new hangout, "the creation center", hours were spent building and putting projects together, honing our skills as craftsmen and artisans. Our name "Ryan's Place home decor" is in honor of our son who is now with Jesus.

The family hobby turned into joining craft shows, street festivals and art fairs. The idea of joining etsy came from customers inquiring wheather or not we had a store they could come to or a website they could visit. So, here we are and we love it. There is a special feeling of comradery here on etsy, being with fellow craftsmen and artisans. There is a quote " Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" although we do work harder at our handcrafted goods than we have ever worked at a traditional job, it's a labor of love. The reward of seeing and touching a finished product makes it worth it. We fall in love with each and every piece and hope you do as well.
